DS-PDBG8-EG2 - acoustic detector that detects the breaking of glass surfaces (windows, shop windows, door panels, etc.) that form the perimeter of the building. The detector is installed in the same room as the guarded surface, e.g. a window. Attention - this detector reacts to the breaking of glass that is set in a fixed frame - a closed window, shop window, closed glass door, etc. It evaluates not only the acoustic high-frequency component, but also the subsonic NF component (pressure wave), which precedes the actual shattering of the glass surface. It therefore does not react, e.g., to the breaking of a bottle, the breaking of a hanging mirror, etc.
Note: Do not install the detector in rooms smaller than 3 x 3 m and larger than 15 x 15 m or where the ceiling height is above 6 m.
